Where Are the File Commands in ComfortFiles — the Command Bar

On Windows, the commands that act on files live in a row along the top. On a Mac they live in menus, in the right-click, and — in most file managers — at the bottom of the window if anywhere.
ComfortFiles puts them where the Windows habit reaches.
What is in the row

The buttons say what is on
A row of buttons that never look pressed is a row nobody can read. The view button for the mode you are in stays pressed; so does the preview-panel switch while the panel is open. Sort and Group carry the current choice in their own labels, which matters most in the icon view, where there is no column header to carry it instead.
Edit is a menu, not five icons
Explorer puts cut, copy, paste, rename and delete along the bar as five pictures. Those five pictures teach nothing: a person who uses them for a year still does not know that ⌘X is cut.
The menu shows each command with its key. Read it on the way past often enough and you stop needing the button — which is the point.
Labels, and when they go
Right-click the bar for Show Labels. Turn it off and the row is icons with their tooltips; the same right-click brings the words back, which is why hiding the whole bar is not offered — a bar that hides itself leaves nothing to right-click.
The labels also collapse on their own when the window is too narrow for them, and return when it is wide again.

Frequently asked questions
Where are the New Folder and Sort buttons in ComfortFiles?
In the command bar — the row under the address bar. New, Edit, Sort, Group and Refresh from the left; the two view buttons and the preview-panel switch at the right end. It is where Windows Explorer keeps them, which is where the hand goes if you came from Windows.
Does the Sort button show what the list is sorted by?
Yes — it reads Sort: Name ↑ rather than just Sort, and flips to ↓ when you reverse it. Group does the same while a grouping is on. In the icon view there is no column header to say it, so the button is the only place that can.
Where are cut, copy and paste?
Behind the Edit button, with the keyboard shortcut printed beside each one — ⌘X, ⌘C, ⌘V, F2, ⌘⌫. Explorer puts those five along the bar as bare icons; a menu that shows the keys teaches them, and the icons do not. Commands that cannot run right now are greyed rather than hidden, so their position never moves.
Can I hide the labels?
Right-click the bar and turn Show Labels off, and the row becomes icons only. They also collapse by themselves when the window is too narrow for the words, and come back when it is wide again.
Is this a Windows theme?
No. It is Explorer’s arrangement drawn in Mac materials — system symbols, native menus, our own palette. There is no second theme and no switch: a per-user interface toggle doubles every screen forever, and Windows chrome on a Mac is exactly what this app promises not to do.
